  • Donald M Best of Hot Springs Village died Saturday February 11, 2017 at the age of 91. He was born June 22, 1925 in Goldthwaite, TX. Donald spent 21 years serving in the US Airforce and 16 years in the FAA. He retired to Hot Springs Village in 1982. He was an avid golfer and spent time helping rate and grade courses in Arkansas, the Philippines, and Japan, as well as organizing the Amateur Golf Tournament in Arkansas. He is survived by his wife, Gay Best; children, Donna Ebert, Francis “Bud” Best, Mike Best, and Randy Best; stepsons Dale Phillips and Wade Phillips; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services will be held at CedarVale Funeral Home located at 200 Minorca Road, Hot Springs Village, AR on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2:00 P.M., Teddy Frye presiding.
